Which data do we process?

When you request a quote or contact us via this website, we process the details you fill in yourself: name, phone number, email address (optional), town or postcode, the services you are interested in, floor area, preferred timing and your message. Plus any photos or messages you send us via WhatsApp or email.

What do we use it for?

• To contact you about your request.
• To prepare a quote and, if you place an order, to schedule and carry out the work.
• To comply with legal obligations, such as the statutory retention period for invoices.

The legal basis is performing (pre-)contractual arrangements at your request and, where applicable, a legal obligation. We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it to others.

Which third-party services do we use?

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) forwards the completed quote form to us by email.
• Google (Gmail) — our email address, where your request arrives.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us via WhatsApp.
• Cloudflare hosts this website. Technical data such as your IP address is briefly processed for security and proper operation.

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Union. They use their own safeguards for this, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Fonts, photos and videos are loaded from our own website. If you close the language suggestion, we remember that choice in your browser (local storage) so it does not appear again.

How long do we keep your data?

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than one year after the last contact. Data relating to an order and invoice is kept for as long as the statutory retention period requires (usually seven years).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its use. Send an email to frieslandvloertechniek@gmail.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use.

We may update this privacy policy if our way of working changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. In case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.
