An uneven concrete floor full of old adhesive residue was first levelled mirror-smooth. Then a light herringbone floor was laid through the living room and kitchen.
The floor has been laid perfectly flat and communication was very pleasant.

Friesland Vloertechniek en Klussen is a flooring company from Oudkerk (Aldtsjerk), near Leeuwarden. Behind the company is Ali: a craftsman who believes a beautiful floor starts with a perfect subfloor.
That is why we do everything ourselves — from removing the old floor and levelling to laying, skirting boards and the final finish. That way every part is right, and you have one point of contact from start to finish.

Why is floor levelling so important?
A PVC or laminate floor is only as flat as the subfloor underneath. Otherwise bumps, joints and height differences show through your new floor — especially with glued PVC. Levelling first gives you a perfectly flat base and a floor that stays beautiful for years.
What is the difference between glued and click PVC?
Glued PVC is fully bonded to a level subfloor: thin, quiet and very stable. Click PVC is floated with a click system on an underlay: quicker to install and comfortable. We are happy to advise which suits your room and subfloor best.
Can you remove my old floor?
Yes. We remove your old floor — for example carpet, laminate or cork — clean the subfloor and prepare everything for the new floor.
What does a new floor cost?
That depends on the floor area, the condition of the subfloor, the material and the pattern. After a short assessment you receive a clear quote with transparent pricing — no surprises afterwards.
Do you also work outside Friesland?
Certainly. Our base is Oudkerk and we work a lot in Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe, but we also take on projects elsewhere in the Netherlands.
How do I get a quote quickly?
Send a WhatsApp with a few photos of the room and the (estimated) floor area in m². That way we can quickly give a first estimate and arrange an appointment to measure up.
Do you also fit skirting boards and an entrance mat?
Yes. We fit tall skirting boards and stick-on skirting, and can neatly set an entrance mat or door mat into the floor. That way your floor is completely finished.
